Acoustic carpet tiles are office carpet in 50×50 cm modular cassettes with a heavy PVC or bitumen backing. They deliver NRC 0.30-0.45 absorption; the ability to replace individual squares makes them the practical solution for heavy-traffic offices and call-centre floors. They improve footstep quietness and room acoustics together.
What are acoustic carpet tiles?
Acoustic carpet tiles come in standard 50×50 cm modular cassettes (60 cm or 100×25 cm in some types) with a heavy backing. Only damaged or stained tiles can be replaced — a far more practical maintenance model than rolled carpet.
